This notice sets out how the University deals with the personal information of people employed at the University and those who apply to work at the University.
This notice may be updated from time to time to ensure continued compliance with current legislation and to reflect best practice.
Your data will be processed for the purposes of processing any application you have made for a vacancy at the University. If you are unsuccessful, your personal data will be held on our system for 12 months from the date the post was filled so that we can meet our internal and external audit requirements.
As this deadline approaches, you will be notified before it is deleted and given an opportunity should you wish us to retain it for future applications. Thereafter if you chose to retain it we will contact you every 12 months to refresh your request for retention.
