An opportunity has arisen to join CTR as a Research Associate (Qualitative), contributing to the delivery of health and care studies with a qualitative component. The role may involve collecting research data using qualitative methods, e.g. interviews and/or focus groups, and/or participant observation. It may require travel to collect research data. The role will involve carrying out research (e.g. qualitative data collection and qualitative analysis) on a number of different trials and/or studies, undertaking in depth qualitative research with service users, carers and staff. The role will involve working on other studies/trials with a qualitative component too and will typically involve working across multiple studies at one time.

This position is full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term until 30th June 2027 and available immediately. however this post is subject to a review process and may therefore be extended (or converted to open-ended).
This role is eligible to be offered on a blended working basis, meaning that as well as spending time working on campus you can also choose to spend some time working from another location, e.g. your home. The University is committed to offering this flexibility, wherever the role and business need allows, supporting work-life balance.
Salary: £41,064 - £46,049 per annum (Grade 6)
Appointments to roles at Cardiff University are usually made at bottom of scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
