Internal Applicants Only - Disability Practitioner
Cardiff University's Student Disability Service is seeking to appoint a Disability Practitioner to support the information, guidance and support offered to disabled students. The post holder will provide initial consultations to provide information and guidance and provide direct response to support issues, escalating more complex cases to the Disability Advisers.
The post holder will support students with Specific Learning Difficulty screening and assessments, assist in the development of support plans and work with all students with Disabled Students Allowance applications and support issues.
You will be able to demonstrate professional knowledge of disability support and experience of working in higher education.
The post is part time, (21 hours per week) and fixed term until 10th June 2027 to cover for an existing member of staff on maternity leave. This post is available from 10th June 2026.
Salary: £33,951 - £36,636 per annum, pro rata for hours worked (Grade 5).
