Pro Vice Chancellor (Education and Student Experience)
This is an exceptional senior leadership opportunity to play a defining role in shaping the educational mission and student experience of Cardiff University.
As Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education and Student Experience), you will provide University-wide strategic academic leadership for education, learning and the student experience, advancing Cardiff University’s strategy Our Future, Together. You will champion inclusive, innovative and partnership-based approaches to education that enable all students to thrive academically, personally and professionally, and ensure that excellent education is central to the University’s identity as a values-led, research-intensive, and global civic institution.
Working as a key member of the University Executive Board, you will lead the development and delivery of education and student experience strategy across the University. You will guide enhancement of curricula, assessment and pedagogic practice, strengthen student partnership, and provide senior academic leadership for quality, standards and regulatory engagement. Through collaboration with students, academic colleagues and professional services, you will drive continuous improvement in student success, wellbeing, inclusion and employability.

The postholder will be appointed for a four-year term as Pro Vice-Chancellor, with the possibility of a further four-year term. The role will be underpinned by a Professorial appointment (depending on Professorial banding) or equivalent senior standing in an academic School within the University.
Salary: £77,771 - £135,297 per annum (Senior Staff salary scale)
